Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle manual treatment technique which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph.
This treatment is indicated for clients suffering from Lymphedema, Chronic Venous Insufficiency, Post-Surgical and Post-Traumatic Swelling, Lipedema/Lipo-Lymphedema, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Migraine Headaches, and "Detoxification."

“Detox” lymphatic drainage supports your body’s natural filtration system by encouraging the movement of lymph fluid, helping reduce fluid retention, puffiness, and feelings of sluggishness without forcing or replacing the body’s own detox processes.

People suffering from congenital (primary) lymphedema and secondary lymphedema (due to trauma or disease) greatly benefit from MLD and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT).

MLD is the main modality that is utilized for Post-Surgical treatment. MLD helps to speed up the healing process by reducing swelling and bruising, removing cellular debris and waste from traumatized areas, and reducing the risk of infection.
